We have many kinds of horror games out for us. Some are psychological, some action heavy and others have you completely powerless. Until Dawn is the first horror game that I can think of that directly mimics a horror movie rather than taking inspiration. All the trailers for this game made it look like a 90’s slasher movie with Heavy Rain-esque gameplay. Does Until Dawn succeed in merging horror movies and video games?
Before Game Freak was known for the Pokemon series they developed Pulseman in 1994. It was a fast paced action platformer and a overlooked gem on the Sega Genesis. Over 20 years later Game Freak and Sega work together once again with Tembo the Badass Elephant. It isn’t often when Game Freak work on something other than Pokemon. Do they have what it takes to get Tembo the Badass Elephant off the ground?
A Matter of Family is the first major piece of Arkham Knight DLC featuring Barbara Gordon as Batgirl before her faithful incident with the Joker. The Joker has kidnapped Barbara’s father a several GCPD officers and threatens to kill them if Batman is seen. Barbara with the help of Robin (Tim Drake) seek to save the day without the help of the Dark Knight.
A sequel to Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars, Rocket League cuts out all of the fluff of the single player of SARPBC to focus on the unique soccer gameplay. Without a dedicated single player component, does Rocket League really take off?
