At the Toronto Comics and Arts Festival 2015 (TCAF) I played various games in various stages in development. I have a soft spot for rhythm games and after seeing LOUD on Planet X is was interested. Developers Pop Sandbox are currently running Kickstarter campaign and aiming for release on PS4, Vita and iOS. They currently have 9 popular indie bands on board and it has a unique personality and gameplay that other rhythm games that could have the same songs don’t have.
Telltale has returned, not with The Walking Dead The Game Season 2 but with another graphic novel property. Based off Bill Williamham’s Fables, The Wolf Among Us is another 5 part episodic series. Taking place before the start of the original series it follows the life of Bigby The Big Bad Wolf. The Walking Dead was a surprise breakout success that put Telltale on the map. Will The Wolf Among Us be a similar success?
Following in the success of the comics and the television series Telltale Games has taken the franchise and made it into a game. Telltale is best known for the their episodic adventure games (Sam & Max, Tales of Monkey Island, Back to the Future) and has achieved high levels of acclaim. Is taking The Walking Dead to the video game frontier a good idea or will the series die out before it even gets started.
The Playstation Network is offering all Uncharted 2 DLC free for Playstation Plus users.
Naughty Dog has not excluded any piece of DLC in this mega deal. All Multiplayer Maps, Siege Expansion Pack, Character Skins, Golden Weapon Mods, Avatars, Dynamic Theme and the four part Motion Comic “Eye of Indra” are included.
This is obviously to promote Uncharted 3 that is releasing on November 1st. Even if you aren’t going to play the multiplayer again the avatars, theme and the motion comic that I haven’t even heard of before are a nice bonus. This is an unbeleivable value and I am always fond of free stuff. Get it while you still can.
