News Batman Arkham Knight Trailer

Rocksteady returns with their first trailer of the final installment of the Batman: Arkham series. A few details are revealed so far other than the Batmobile being drivable and the Scarecrow starting an all out war against the Dark Knight. Slated to come out some 2014 let’s hope that Rocksteady has even more to bring to the table down the line.

The early years of the Dark Knight revealed. Taking place five years before Arkham Asylum, the game will take you through the start of not only Batman’s career but some of his rogues gallery. Rocksteady, the developer of Arkahm Asylum and City did not develop Arkahm Origins. Warner Bros. Games Montreal has taken over development using game’s existing resources. Can this unestablished team give us a game we deserve?

Article Ultra Street Fighter 4 announced at Evo 2013 and other fighting game news

Evo 2013, the largest fighting game tournament, was this past weekend and just before the Super Street Fighter 4 AE top 8 Capcom revealed its debut trailer. The update will contain 5 new characters (4 returning and 1 brand new), 6 new stages and unannounced new modes and features. The update will be on disc for $39.00 and DLC for $14.99¬† as with Arcade Edition. The disc version will contain all of the DLC costumes and owners of Super who didn’t upgrade to Arcade Edition will only have to pay for Ultra upon release. Ultra Street Fighter 4 will release early 2014.

Review Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD

It’s no secret that the Tony Hawk’s series has fallen from grace over the years. Depending who you ask the series started to decline at a couple of different points. Some people thought after THPS 2, while some thought after Underground and for me was after Underground 2. The only thing that saved American Wasteland for me was the online play and I thought Project 8 dismal. After the failed attempt with the skateboard peripheral after Tony Hawk: Ride¬† Activision announced at last year’s E3 Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD a re-imaging of the first two games. Tony Hawk’s arcade-like skateboarding series has bailed long ago but is THPS HD a clean landing?

Article FanExpo Canada: Game Demos First Impressions

This past weekend I attended FanExpo Canada in Toronto. On top of seeing celebrities and spending more money than I’m willing to admit I had the opportunity to play some upcoming games. Sony, Ubisoft, Warner Bros, Bungie and EA had a presence at the expo. Most of the games at FanExpo appeared to be the E3 builds. While I didn’t have a chance to play each title, I did play some highly anticipated games.

DLC Review Batman Arkham City: Harley Quinn’s Revenge

The newest piece of Arkham City DLC was released last week and it isn’t another challenge map pack or a DLC character. Harley Quinn’s Revenge is an epilogue chapter for Arkham City revolving around Harley, Batman and Robin. The DLC costs $10 but should you reenter Arkham City.
