The update will contain 5 new characters (4 returning and 1 brand new), 6 new stages and unannounced new modes and features. The update will be on disc for $39.00 and DLC for $14.99 as with Arcade Edition. Will NetherRealm take what they learned in from Mortal Kombat to heart or will this be a drop?
With the lull that was 2012 behind us let’s look towards the new year. 2013 is already promising a stronger line up with both sequels and a surprising amount of new IPs. There’s a lot to look forward to this year with several games coming out within the first half of the year. I’m not aware of everything that’s coming out but are the games that have been on my radar.
This past weekend I attended FanExpo Canada in Toronto. On top of seeing celebrities and spending more money than I’m willing to admit I had the opportunity to play some upcoming games. Sony, Ubisoft, Warner Bros, Bungie and EA had a presence at the expo. Most of the games at FanExpo appeared to be the E3 builds. While I didn’t have a chance to play each title, I did play some highly anticipated games.
