Trailers Trailers From Last Week 5/31/2015 – Time to go to war

Written by Twisted Ideas

What else is there to say about Arkham Knight at this point. I just want it to come out but this new gameplay trailer is showing off more of the Batmobile. This is probably the most versatile Batmobile that I’ve seen. When engaged in the massive tank shoot out it can track the trajectory of enemy fire and drive in all directions like a helicopter. Best of all, it can do donuts.

News PS3 Version 4.25 update notes

Written by Twisted Ideas

For those attempting to go online on the PS3 today will find that there is a mandatory version update for the system. Version 4.25 gives Playstation Plus users 1 GB of of cloud storage for their save files. Prior to the update you only had 150 MB of storage. Out of curiosity I did a mass back up of all of my save data discovering that there was about 484 MB on my PS3, three times larger than the previous storage space allotted. So yes additional space is a welcome. Again this is only available to PS Plus users who also gain the benefits of free games/themes/avatars, discounts and the occasional early access to content like betas.

Review The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword

Written by Twisted Ideas

Link is back in Nintendo’s signature The Legend of Zelda franchise. I’m going to cut to the chase right now, Skyward Sword is a good “Zelda” game even great. The problem is we have been spoiled with games like Batman Arkham City, Uncharted 3, etc that are action packed and throw you in the action right away. Zelda takes a while before the real adventure starts and the game’s action isn’t as nail biting as shooters or brawlers. Another hard sell is people without a Wii or Wii Motion Plus. Zelda is an adventure game designed to be lengthy and always has. If you are fine with that and even if you need an additional investment for Wii Motion Plus Skyward Sword is well worth your time.
