2015 has been a great year in gaming. There have been a strong showing from long awaited sequels, anticipated games that lived up to their hype and some surprise breakouts from new IP’s. While I haven’t reviewed all of these games throughout the year and the last few months of 2015 have been busy for me in the writing department, I have played and thoroughly enjoyed these games.
It has been a better part of a year since we’ve met Max, Chloe and the residents of Arcadia bay. For Max, this has been the longest week of her life. Life is Strange – Episode 5: Polarized will be the end to this story. How it ends and how you get there will be to you.
We’re soon approaching the end of the Arkham series with all of Batman’s rogue gallery arming themselves to finally bring down the bat. Batman has been in these situations before but with the Arkham Knight looming over the city will Batman win the night?
The latest batch DLC for Final Fantasy XIII-2 has just been released on PSN and XBLA. The first is “Snow: Perpetual Battlefield” a piece of Story DLC and another Colosseum battle. The second is “Lightning’s Story: Requiem of the Goddess”. I didn’t buy Snow’s DLC but Lightning’s is the more interesting of the two because it elaborates on the cliffhanger ending of XIII-2. The DLC is $5/400 Microsoft points but is it really worth it?
The efforts of Operation Rainfall has successfully gotten Xenoblade Chronicles, The Last Story and Pandora’s Tower localized in North America. The first of the three to be released is Xenoblade Chronicles, a sci-fi JRPG. The Wii has always been lacking in the RPG department but now it’s receiving heavy hitters. Is Xenoblade Chronicles good enough to scrape of the dust off your Wii or should it stayed at home.
