The final chapter in the Arkham series is finally here after several delays and the burning anticipation of fans. With a stumble with Arkham Origins, will Batman: Arkham Knight and his brand new, shiny Batmobile send off this series into greatness?
The Warner Bros booth showed off a new zombie horror game Dying Light. Developed by Techland the developers of Dead Island created a new game similar yet separate to the series. Dying Light introduces new mechanics to the zombie survival genre.
The early years of the Dark Knight revealed. Taking place five years before Arkham Asylum, the game will take you through the start of not only Batman’s career but some of his rogues gallery. Rocksteady, the developer of Arkahm Asylum and City did not develop Arkahm Origins. Warner Bros. Games Montreal has taken over development using game’s existing resources. Can this unestablished team give us a game we deserve?
This past weekend I attended FanExpo Canada in Toronto. On top of seeing celebrities and spending more money than I’m willing to admit I had the opportunity to play some upcoming games. Sony, Ubisoft, Warner Bros, Bungie and EA had a presence at the expo. Most of the games at FanExpo appeared to be the E3 builds. While I didn’t have a chance to play each title, I did play some highly anticipated games.
